What To Expect
Visiting a new place can be quite daunting, so we are here to share some information to help make joining us for church less stressful. We have taken a few common questions that come up and answered them below:
- What to Wear: Whatever you want! As long as it is family friendly, we encourage you to come in whatever you are most comfortable in. Some like to come in a suit while others prefer shorts, Hawaiian shirts and sneakers; regardless of what you choose to wear, you belong here.
- Where to Park: While we don’t have the largest parking lot, there is plenty of street parking around the church. Feel free to park your vehicle anywhere around the building. We do ask, however, that you leave the parking closest to the building for the elderly, disabled, and those with kids.
- Kids Ministry: If you have a child between infancy and fifth grade, we have a great kids program for them! Feel free to ask our parking team which door to go through. Once in, please proceed to the kids ministry counter to register your child(ren). Children and parents/guardians will be given corresponding coded stickers to ensure safe pickup of all children.
- Worship Style: Rather than choose verses by topic to teach each week, at Grace Christian Church, we teach/preach verse by verse. This is to make sure that we talk about everything in the Bible, even the topics that can be hard to talk about. We love music and incorporate it into each worship service! We have mostly contemporary music and invite you to stand and enjoy the music if you are able to and comfortable doing so.
- Connect Further: After the service, we invite you to come by our connections table in the back of the sanctuary and talk with us! We would love for the chance to talk with you and get to know more about who you are and what you are looking for in a home church.
